Off Season

Here's a few photos that document what I've been up to in the racing off season.

To earn a little cash in the off season, I sing tenor in a doo-wop trio.

Grrr. I've been working on this bone since Daytona 2007. It's a tough one!

It's a little known fact that Heelers can, at will, walk on water.

I would like to thank my belly scratching sponsor, Vanson Leathers.

Well, that's it! See you at Daytona!

More 2007 Photos

Here's a few more photos from 2007 that I just found [out in the back yard where I keep my collection of bones and chewy toys].

Here's me with Bubba Shobert at the track. He's a cool guy, AND he has a cool first name, just like me! Bubba. Shorty!

Whew! I was tired of walking around at Miler Motorsports. Good thing I found some wheels!

I found some wheels at Sandia, too!

After a long day at the track, I like to relax in my trailer and kick back with a cold one and a little channel surfing.

Sandia, New Mexico

Here's some photos from my trip to the Sandia, New Mexico AHRMA races in 20o7.

Here's me with Sandia Organizer Craig Murray. He's the best!

Here's a cool old truck I found.

Hmmm. If I could just reach the clutch...

WHOOOOOA! Extreme closeup!

Here's me with AHRMA Trustee Craig Breckon. He gave me some beef jerky and scratched my butt. He really knows how to treat a girl!

Boy! After all those photos, I sure am tired! Hahaha, I mean Woof!

Even More Miller Motorsports

Here's me with Jim Calllahan from Triumph. I like Jim! He gives me beef jerky, too!

"You'll never take me alive, coppers! " Whoa. Here's me hanging out with 5-0 at the track...I hope it wasn't illegal to poop where I just did!

It's good to be #1!

Hi! Nice to meet you!
Here's me and a buddy I met walking around Miller Motorsports.

More Miller Motorsports 2007

Here's some more shots from Miller Motorsports in 2007.

Here's me in a cool Ural sidecar.

I like this sidecar rig better. It's faster!
I think I'm having an identity crisis. Am I a dog or a monkey?!?

I also got to try my hand errr, paws at driving Ford's new race car.

Where's my helmet!? Which way to the starting grid?! I'll show those other dogs how to chase cars!

Let's see. I think I saw him put his scooter keys in the glovebox...

Hmmmm. Does AHRMA have a class to race chainsaws in?

I think these wheels are more my speed!

Shorty Intro

Hi there, AHRMA racers. I'm Shorty Cowell, and this is my blog. Over the course of it, I'll write about all the places I go and people I meet as I travel to the different AHRMA events. Woof woof!

This is me and my pal Alice Sexton, AHRMA Communications Director. I like Alice. She takes me for long walks and sneaks me beef jerky sometimes.

This is a cool sidecar I got to ride in at Miller Motorsports in 2007.

Here's me with a Britten superbike. This bike is so fast that it can even outrun me!
